Behold, the 3'rd child, the T-800's bike, a childhood dream come true. Oh-boy, oh-boy, oh-boy, what an object! Whoever designed this did not live in vain.
Still didn't give it a name. Bought it with a couple hundred km-s short of 81000. It is from the year 1973... :) I kid, it's from 2000. The same model Arnold, playing the T-800 in Terminator 2 had under its metal butt. Machine on machine... sounds like a category on pornhub. Visually it might as well be. When the machines and the artificial-"intelligence" takes over this dehumanized, idiocracy, us humans call society, robots will watch sequences from T2 and fap until sparks come out. 01100110 01100001 01110000 00100000 01100110 01100001 01110000 00100000 01100110 01100001 01110000.
Got carried away but you can't even begin to imagine how much I drooled over one of these ever since seeing the movie, which was not yesterday. In the future, if it doesn't get altered :), if we don't obliterate ourselves and if we'll still have fuel, that is a lot of if-s, the mini-me-s will inherit this. Take good care of it I will. Kids, if you are reading this, you betta' recognize'!
When we first saw it at its previous owner I was awestruck. Seemed perfect, spotless. After the initial joy wore off, like with everything you start noticing the little "cracks". Not that that deterred me from ownership or anything. It is a well taken care of bike that was parked in a garage but it has an age.
It was a good deal for what it was with lots of extras, most of which I took off and contemplate on selling. It had a windshield / leather pouch combo, sissy bar, it still has the leather saddle bags, front fender trims. Chrome soft-tail-toolbox has to go if I'll manage to somehow take it off because weather seems to have welded it and WD40 didn't help at all.
Local Harley Davidson service experience was kind of disappointing but more on that later. That is it for now. Check back for updates if you are interested. Photos, videos incoming. I even plan on doing a sort of slow tv kind of youtube video series. Sharing my experience and so on. Thank you for tuning in.
