Behold, a childhood dream come true. Oh-boy, oh-boy, oh-boy, what an object! Whoever designed this did not live in vain.
Bought with a couple hundred km-s short of 81000. It is from the year 1973... :) I kid, it's from 2000. The same model Arnold, playing the T-800 in Terminator 2 had under its metal ass. Machine on machine. Sounds like a category on pornhub. Visually it might as well be. When the machines take over this dehumanized, idiocratic piece of shit, humans currently have the audacity to call society, robots will watch sequences from T2 and fap until sparks come out. 01100110 01100001 01110000 00100000 01100110 01100001 01110000 00100000 01100110 01100001 01110000.
Got carried away but you can't even begin to imagine how much I drooled over one of these ever since seeing the movie, which was not yesterday. In the future (if it doesn't get altered :)), if we don't obliterate ourselves the mini-me-s will inherit this. Take good care of it I will. Kids, if you are reading this, you betta' recognize'!
When we first saw it at its previous owner I was awestruck. Seemed perfect, spotless. After the initial joy wore off, like with everything you start noticing the little imperfections. Not that that deterred me from ownership or anything. It is a well taken care of bike that was parked in a garage but it has seen a few winters.
It was a good deal for what it was with lots of extras, most of which I took off and selling. Like the windshield/leather pouch combo, sissy bar. Still have the leather saddlebags, front fender trims. The chrome soft-tail-toolbox, gone. It was a bitch to take off. Local weather seems to have welded it. WD40 didn't help at all.
Local Harley Davidson service checkup experience was kind of disappointing but more on that later. That is it for now. Check back for updates if you are interested. Will update with photos, videos, part upgrades. I even plan on doing a sort of "slow tv" kind of youtube video series. Sharing my experience.
Thank you for tuning in!
