Glimpse of a childhood dream that came true. Oh-boy, oh-boy, oh-boy, what a pleasing object! Whoever designed this did not live in vain.

Bought with a couple of hundred km-s short of 81000. It is from the year 1973... :) I kid, it's from 2000 (the latter part of 1999 actually). The same model Arnold Gretanegger, playing the T-800 in Terminator 2 had under its sit bones. Metal on metal (sounds like a category on pornhub). Visually it might as well be. When the machines take over this dehumanized, idiocracy, robots will watch sequences from T2, no doubt and polish their shafts until sparks come out.

Got carried away, sorry. Can't even begin to describe how much I drooled over one of these ever since seeing the movie. Which was not yesterday. In the future (if it doesn't get altered), my mini-me-s will inherit this. Until then, take care of it, I will. Kids, if you are reading this, you betta' recognize'!

When we first saw it live (at its previous owner) I was awestruck. Seemed perfect, spotless. After the initial joy wore off, like with everything, you start noticing the little imperfections. Not that that deterred me from ownership or anything. It is a well taken care of bike that was parked in a garage. It has seen a few winters tho'.

Was a good deal for what it was with lots of extras, most of which I took off and sold. Like the windshield/leather pouch combo, sissy bar. Still have the leather saddlebags, front fender trims. The chrome soft-tail-toolbox, gone. It was a bitch to take off. Local weather seems to have "welded" it. Not even WD40 helped.

Local Harley Davidson service checkup experience was kind of disappointing but more on that later. That is it for now. Check back for updates if you are interested. Will update with photos, videos, part upgrades. I even plan on doing a sort of "slow tv" kind of youtube video series. Sharing my experience. The journey. Thank you for tuning in! Tu-dum-tumm-du-dumm.
